BITS & PIECES• Two other takes on the low-end of the SIZ scale: [ 1 ] [ 2 ]
SIZ Matters!Ever looked at the size (SIZ) ratings for individuals and monsters in CoC and wondered how they jybe? There appear to be two different scales in use -- one for the low-end and one for the high-end. In the low-end scale one point of SIZ is roughly 15 pounds (or one Stone in English measure -- handy, that). The scale is generally linear. The high-end scale is parabolic. My best-fit formula based on the weights published in official Chaosium sources is:
