CVHTS Pranapratishtapana Images

CVHTS Pranapratishtapana Photographs from the "PPP" Over Memorial Day weekend in 1999, the Connecticut Valley Hindu Temple Association held the Pranapratishtapana for the temple's main deity Sri Satyanarayana, his consorts Sri Devi and Sri Bhudevi, and Sri Ganesha. We worked that weekend as volunteer photographers documenting the rituals, processions, and pujas that make up a Pranapratishtapana. We shot over eighty rolls of film -- color and black & white -- generating over 2500 images from the four days of the event and the preparations in the weeks before. We have scanned about 5% of the images; they are presented below for your enjoyment. We are working on developing full descriptions for each of the images.
